The PS4 has PC style architecture so the Porting from PC isn't the problem. You need to be blaming Sony for there PS4 Development tooling or just face facts that the PS4 isn't the power house you are expecting.

Nvidia are an awesome company that make very good GPUs and there driver support is very good. Kepler processors are more advanced than anything Ati can come up with and future Maxwell processors will bring 4K 60fps for sure. I believe what NVidia say. The next gen is a huge leap over the current consoles but please don't get ahead of yourselves, PC tech will always be more powerful and yes it comes at a premium.

Battlefield 3 PC uses around 1.5GB of video ram @ 1080P ultra settings.
It's obvious the demo was running on a high end PC with the resolution and frame rate caped to the the limitations of the PS3 (current gen) i.e 720p @30fps. There is a huge miss interpretation in what kojima said when it comes to the spec of the PC running the demo. Image quality in the demo is far beyond what is capable on the current gen, PS360 owners expect a downgrade in visual quality similar to how BF3 scales from PC to console.
Extended gameplay, well a few minutes more anyway!
You sure Crysis 2 with DX11 + Hi-res textures at ultra settings in 1080p can run anywhere from 40-100+ on my GTX680 + i7 2700k @ 4.2GHz.. My old 570 was around 35-70 fps tops
This looks awesome, loved the first game. I just hope it's better optimized than 2033, please don't make me buy another gtx 680!
You better hope it's a beast cause every multi plat game will unfortunately be set by the lowest denominator. Ps4 will only be as good as the competition for 80% of it's games, like it or lump it that's how the gaming industry works.
